TO ACCEPT A DONATION OF $428 FROM GAHANNA MOOSE LODGE #2463 FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE SAID DONATION TO THE EMPLOYEE RELATIONS ACCOUNT.

WHEREAS, a generous donation has been received from Gahanna Moose Lodge #2463 and specified for use by the Gahanna Police Department; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council and the Gahanna Police Department to supplementally appropriate these funds to an account that the Police Department can readily access;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna do hereby accept this very generous donation, and to specify the funds for the Police Department.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($428) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.211.5280, Employee Relations.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2006, passed January 2, 2006, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
