WHEREAS, it has become necessary to provide HVAC system, which will provide heating, air conditioning, and fresh air supply to the area of the building previously used by Columbus State; and
WHEREAS, due to the limited window afforded for the use of prison labor in the renovation process, it is necessary and desirable to move as rapidly as possible to provide additional funding for the HVAC work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO;
Section 1. That the amount of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to ACCOUNT NO. 101.141.5511, LANDS AND BUILDINGS, CAPITAL, to cover the needed installation of HVAC equipment.
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 200001, passed January 3, 2000, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
