TO AMEND SECTION 1147.08, YARD REQUIREMENTS, OF CHAPTER 1147, MR-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA

WHEREAS, due to a potential problem with code interpretation recently faced by Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals a review of this code section was undertaken and it was determined that revision was necessary; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission has reviewed, initiated changes, and recommended said changes to City Council; and
WHEREAS, Council held Public Hearing on May 1, 2000, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Section 1147.08, Yard Requirements, of Chapter 1147, MR-1 Residential Districts, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Section 1147.08, Yard Requirements, of Chapter 1147, MR-1 Residential Districts, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
