SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - B & C COMMUNICATIONS FOR INSTALLATION TO UPFIT A DODGE RAM POLICE SPECIALTY VEHICLE.

WHEREAS, the Police Department is purchasing a Dodge Ram police specialty vehicle and it needs equipping and upfitting of necessary equipment and accessories; and
WHEREAS, B & C Communications, a local company, has worked on the installation to upfit other police vehicles for the City and they are familiar with our fleet and the technology we use and are able to do the installation immediately; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has recommended we proceed with B & C Communications for the installation to upfit this vehicle;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the proposal for installation to upfit a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 is attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWENTY ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT DOLLARS ($21,578) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Law Enforcement Trust Fund, To Account No. 225.211.5512, LETF - Capital Equipment, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
