WHEREAS, new laws have been established on water quality that require us to do education on stormwater; and

WHEREAS, the Administration has proposed a mural be painted in the Creekside area by a local artist;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Personal Services Contract with David Reed, 176 Empire Drive, Gahanna, OH  43230, for the completion of a mural in the Creekside area, said personal services contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.

Section 2.  That the amoutn of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Refuse Escrow Fund to Account No. 850.345.5415, Yard Waste.

Section 3.  That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 4.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor.
