WHEREAS, to provide additional funds for Part Time Officers in anticipation of miliatry mobilization of Full Time Officers; and

WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna has one officer already deployed and 5 active reserve, as well as several officers who have recent military service; 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That FORTY SEVEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($47,100) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated unencumbered balance in the general fund to the following accounts:

101.2115125     Part Time Officers                  $40,000

101.211.5131    Police PERS                               5,440

101.211.5132    Police Workers Compensation     1,080

101.211.5138    Medicare                                      580

Section 2.  That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
