TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH MID OHIO GOLF CAR FOR GOLF CAR RENTAL FOR THE 2006 SEASON, GAHANNA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE.

WHEREAS, letter quotes for golf car rental have been received and the Director of Parks and Recreation is recommending the lowest, most responsible and responsive quote to Council to proceed with rental of golf cars for the 2006 season;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with Mid Ohio Golf Car, 2333 Hebron Road, Heath, Ohio, 43056 for twenty-five (25) gas-powered Golf Cars for the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course, in accordance with proposal, attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($16,375) was appropriated in the 2006 Appropriations to Account No. 101.433.5427, Cart Rental, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council, and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
