TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH CINTAS CORPORATION FOR UNIFORMS, MATS AND TOWELS.

WHEREAS, the agreement with Cintas Corporation was coming up and the Director of Public Service decided to get quotes for the items and services they furnish for the City; and
WHEREAS, the Cintas quote was in the middle of the three quotes the City received, but Cintas is a Gahanna business, they are our third largest water customer, and the lowest priced company does not carry Carhartts which many of our employees wear; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has recommended we enter into a 60 month Service Agreement with Cintas Corporation for the above mentioned services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a 60 month Service Agreement with CINTAS CORPORATION, 1300 Boltonfield Street, Columbus, OH 43228, for uniforms, mats and towels for the City of Gahanna; Service Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding was set aside in the 2013 Appropriations in each individual account of those departments using the Cintas services.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
