Title

TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO GRANT EASEMENT FOR COLUMBIA GAS OF OHIO, INC., FOR PROPERTY ON CHERRYBOTTOM ROAD, IMPROVEMENT NO. 653

Body

WHEREAS, Columbia Gas of Ohio, Inc., has presented Easement to the City of Gahanna in order to lay gas pipeline through an area of Cherrybottom Road near an existing sidewalk; and

WHEREAS, Columbia Gas of Ohio, Inc., has agreed to work with the Parks and Recreation Department in producing the least amount of destruction to the area during this construction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Easement with COLUMBIA GAS OF OHIO, INC., 200 Civic Center Drive, P.O. Box 117, Columbus, Ohio 43216-0117, said Easement attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A.

Section 2.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
