TO HONOR THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS FOR THEIR WORK AT HANNAH FARM.

WHEREAS, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints did a large amount of work at Hannah Farm, including the installation of a split rail fence at most of the front of Clark State Road; took down and limbed up some overgrown trees and brush; tore down a 3 car garage sized building; and knocked down a chimney and cleaned up some of the walls; and

 

WHEREAS, it is the understanding of the Director of Parks & Recreation that this group intends to come back later in the summer to do more work; and

 

WHEREAS,  Bishop Steven B. Leavitt, and Pauline Morello, Director of Public Affairs are to be commended for coordinating this effort on the part of their church;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That the Church  of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is hereby commended for their volunteerism and community service in the work recently completed at Hannah Farm.

 

Section 2.  That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at earliest period allowed by law.
