TO REVISE AGREEMENT WITH THE STONEHENGE COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TRIANGLE WEST SANITARY SEWER PUMP STATION, IMPROVEMENT #740; TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $16,461 THEREFOR; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, proposal has been received, and has been recommended by the Administration; and
WHEREAS, the Triangle West Sanitary Sewer requires additional work to revise the detailed engineering plans; and
WHEREAS, $26,250 in funds from Purchase Orders for purchase of easements ($15,000 from P.O. #40614 from Year 2000 and $11,250 from P.0. #42406 from Year 2001) will not be needed and are released and returned to the sewer fund for reappropriation to build the pump station; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire and goal of this Council and Administration to continue the development of the Triangle West Sanitary Sewer, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into amended agreement with the Stonehenge Co., 41 N. High Street, New Albany, Ohio 43054, for additional work required for the Triangle West Sanitary Sewer Pump Station.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of THIRTY ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY ONE DOLLARS ($31,461) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance in the Sewer Fund to Account No. 662.361.5593.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of ELEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($11,250) is hereby released from encumbrance designated by ORD-0035-2001 and is designated for use in the Triangle West Sanitary Sewer Pump Station, Improvement #740.
Section 4. That ORD-0001-2001 passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
