WHEREAS, it has been requested that the City provide funds for replacing the roof on the City owned Gahanna Jefferson Chamber of Commerce building; and
WHEREAS, after consideration of information provided to Council by the Gahanna Jefferson Chamber of Commerce this project has been deemed necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City has an obligation to maintain property it owns since the Gahanna Jefferson Chamber of Commerce does not have the necessary funds to provide this needed maintenance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS($4,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.141.5511, Capital Projects, Lands/Buildings, to cover the herein costs.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and upon date of signature approval by the Mayor.
