TO PAY $4,132 TO THE WOODS AT SHAGBARK CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION AS A MORAL OBLIGATION TO REIMBURSE THEM FOR LIFT STATION ELECTRIC BILLS

WHEREAS, during the sanitary sewer line extension that allowed the removal of two sanitary sewer lift stations, it was found that the Woods at Shagbark Condominium Association was being billed for the lift station electric; and
WHEREAS, those electric bills should have been billed to the City and this Council deems it a moral obligation to reimburse the Woods at Shagbark Condominium Association for these charges;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That payment in the amount of FOUR THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY TWO DOLLARS ($4,132) is hereby authorized as a moral obligation by this Council to The Woods at Shagbark Condominium Association, Towne Properties, c/o Keith Morrison, 777A Dearborn Park Lane, Worthington, OH 43085.
Section 2. That the amount of FOUR THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY TWO DOLLARS ($4,132) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Sanitary Sewer Fund to Account No. 661.360.5482, Sewer, Utilities, Electric, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and 30 days after the date of signature approval by the Mayor.
