RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE RENEWAL OF LIQUOR PERMITS TO BAR 62, LLC, KNOWN AS "LOUNGE 62", 953 E. JOHNSTOWN ROAD & PATIOS, GAHANNA, OHIO 43230

WHEREAS, the Administration and Council of the City of Gahanna wish to go on record as opposing the renewal of a D5 Liquor Permit to Bar 62, LLC, known as Lounge 62; and
WHEREAS, the renewal of said permit is opposed, and the City Attorney is preparing a statement pursuant to Section 4303.29.2 of the Ohio Revised Code that, in his opinion, the objection to the renewal of said permit is based upon substantial legal grounds within the meaning and intent of Section 4303.29.2(A)(1)(b) of the Ohio Revised Code:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1 That the City Attorney is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to file with the Ohio Department of Liquor Control in a timely fashion this resolution requesting a hearing on the proposed renewal of a D5 Liquor Permit to Bar 62, LLC, known as Lounge 62, 953 E. Johnstown Road & Patios, Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
Section 2 That the City Attorney and other City officials are hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to cooperate in the preparation of relevant information to be used as evidence at the Ohio Department of Liquor Control hearing in this matter.
Section 3 That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
