TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO TEST LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH ERGOMETRICS & APPLIED PERSONNEL RESEARCH, INC, FOR PURCHASE OF CIVIL SERVICE TESTING MATERIAL; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, for the City to be able to order Civil Service testing material for the police officer test to be given in September, and any other material needed from Ergometrics & Applied Personnel Research, Inc., it is necessary for the Mayor to enter into test licensing agreement with the company; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this licensing agreement so that tests can be ordered in time for the September testing date, and all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Test Licensing Agreement with ERGOMETRICS & APPLIED PERSONNEL RESEARCH, INC., 18720 33rd Avenue West, Suite 200, Lynnwood, Washington 98037; Test Licensing Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That second reading is hereby waived.
Section 3. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
