TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR OFF PREMISE SIGNS WITH STRATHMORE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY FOR CREEKSIDE PROJECT SIGNAGE.

WHEREAS, Planning Commission approved a signage package for the Creekside Development Project at their April 24, 2013 meeting, including allowing two (2) monument signs to be placed in the public right of way in the front of Creekside Plaza; and
WHEREAS, these signs will be used to display the name of tenants in the Creekside Project along Mill Street; and
WHEREAS, City Council must first approve a lease agreement with Strathmore Development for leasing the space that the signs will occupy in the public right of way; and
WHEREAS, Strathmore Development Company has presented the City with a Lease Agreement for Off Premise Sign to accommodate this;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into LEASE AGREEMENT FOR OFF PREMISE SIGN with Strathmore Development Company for signage for the Creekside Development Project; Lease Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
