TO HONOR AND COMMEND OFFICER FRANK STEWART FOR HELPING WITH SAFETY TOWN 2002

WHEREAS, Safety Town was established almost 20 years ago to teach children going into kindergarten about safety issues that a child going to school will encounter; and
WHEREAS, Safety Town 2002 was a great success with almost 250 children participating; and
WHEREAS, without the many volunteers it would not be possible to run Safety Town and cover the areas so important to these children;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and the Administration hereby honor and commend OFFICER FRANK STEWART for giving of himself, his time and his talents to help make Safety Town 2002 a huge success.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council.
