TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH HIMES VENDING, INC. FOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE IN GAHANNA CITY HALL FOR A TERM OF ONE-YEAR; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the City has a two vending machines in City Hall from Himes Vending, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, a one (1) year contract has been requested effective January 1, 2015, and it is prudent to enter into said agreement, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with Himes Vending, Inc., 4654 Groves Road, Columbus, OH 43232 for vending services in Gahanna City Hall for the 2015 Fiscal year, said agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That no City funds are expended for this contract.
Section 3. That for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above this Ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
