TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH TERRA SURVEYING SERVICES COMPANY FOR OLDE GAHANNA STORM SEWER MAPPING; TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $4,800

WHEREAS, a program to clean and inventory storm sewers in Olde Gahanna has just been completed; and
WHEREAS, so that information is not lost, it is necessary to survey the catch basins and pipes obtaining information which is crucial if Olde Gahanna is to be redeveloped; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has received proposal and recommended that we proceed with Terra Surveying to do this work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with TERRA SURVEYING SERVICES COMPANY, 238 Academy Woods Drive, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for mapping of the Olde Gahanna Storm Sewers, in accordance with City Specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FORTY EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($4,800) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.145.5445, Engineer Assistance, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2000, passed January 3, 2000, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of the Mayor.
