SUPPLEMENTAL - Civil Service Advertising

WHEREAS, funding was not appropriated in 1998 to give Civil Service examinations for the positions of Parks Superintendent and Police Secretary/Records Clerk; and
WHEREAS, funding for advertising for the 1999 Police Officer examination needs to come out of the 1998 appropriations since the test is to be given January 9, 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to ACCOUNT NO. 101.171.5432 CIVIL SERVICE ADVERTISING.
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 980001, passed January 2, 1998, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
