TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH CENTURY EQUIPMENT INC., FOR THE RENTAL OF FIVE ADDITIONAL GOLF CARTS FOR THE GAHANNA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE.

WHEREAS, additional golf carts are needed at the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course as play has increased and the Director of Parks & Recreation has recommended we proceed to rent five additional golf carts from Century Equipment so there will be carts available for leagues and busy Saturdays;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Lease Agreement with CENTURY EQUIPMENT, INC., P.O. Box 352889, Toledo, Ohio 43635, for rental of five additional golf carts for the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course; Lease Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($3,540) is available in Account No. 101.433.5249, Golf Course Contract Services, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
