WHEREAS, the hotel/motel tax revenue has exceeded expectations this year and a supplemental appropriation is required to pay the Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Community Improvement Corporation and the Ohio Herb Education Center their respective portions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($7,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund as follows: $3,500 to Account No. 101.354.5456, CIC Operational Expenses and $3,500 to Account No. 101.354.5457, CIC Ohio Herb Education Center.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($28,300) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.356.5456, CVB Operational Expenses.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
