TO AMEND SECTION 713.13, SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS, OF CHAPTER 713, BILLIARD ROOMS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, Specifications and Requirements as set forth in Code Section 713.13 are no longer applicable to billiard rooms; specifically (a), (b) and (d); and
WHEREAS, the Administration has made a recommendation to amend Section 713.13 Specifications and Requirements, (a), (b) and (d), by deleting, and the City Attorney agrees; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this amendment at the earliest time allowed by law, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO;
Section 1. That Section 713.13, Specifications and Requirements, of Chapter 713, Billiard Rooms, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereby and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Section 713.13, Specifications and Requirements, Chapter 713, Billiard Rooms, or any ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That, for reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
