TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH SCHIEBER AND ASSOCIATES FOR LANDSCAPE CONSULTATION SERVICES FOR THE OLDE GAHANNA DESIGN GUIDELINE TEAM.

WHEREAS, letter proposal has been received and has been recommended by the Director of Development for this portion of the Creekside project; and
WHEREAS, it is prudent to move forward with this contract in order to continue to put the design guidelines for the Olde Gahanna area closer to completion and implementation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with SCHIEBER AND ASSOCIATES, 524 North Cassady Avenue, Columbus, OH 43209, for Landscape Architectural Consultation Services for Olde Gahanna Design Guideline Team for the Creekside Project, in accordance with letter proposal attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That $5,550 has been appropriated in the 2001 Appropriations to Account Number 101.343.5253, Development Planning, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
