TO ZONE 42.035+/- ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AS SF-2/ROD, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL-2 BASE ZONING, WITH RESIDENTIAL OVERLAY; FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6505 MORSE ROAD; GLEN DUGGER , AGENT FOR APPLICANT.

WHEREAS, application has been made by Glen Dugger on behalf of property owners to zone 42.035+/- acres, more or less, newly annexed to the City, said property located at 6505 Morse Road; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission held public hearing, said hearing held pursuant to notice and according to law and, as a result of such hearing and deliberations, on April 10, 1999 Planning Commission recommended this application for zoning; and
WHEREAS, Council held Public Hearing on June 7, 1999, pursuant to notice and according to law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map, adopted by Ordinance No. 198-96 on November 19, 1996, as amended, is hereby amended by zoning 42.035+/- acres, more or less, to SF-2/ROD, Single Family Residential 2 base zoning with Residential Overlay, said acreage more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto.
Section 2. That the text and site plan as required by Section 1152.01(l)(2), Procedures, of Chapter 1152, Overlay Districts, is attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT B.
Section 3. That the public areas dedication required under Section 1109.08 shall be in the form of park land dedication and shall follow the procedure outlined in Section 1109.08 (h)(i) & (j) of the Codified Ordinances.
Section 4. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to amend and recertify the Official Zoning Map of the City of Gahanna, Ohio, to reflect the zoning contained in and approved by this ordinance.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
