TO AMEND SECTION 161.07, COLLECTION AT SOURCE, AND 161.08, DECLARATIONS, OF CHAPTER 161, INCOME TAX, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA

WHEREAS, House Bill 477 required municipalities to have changes reflected by the bill in place by calendar year 2003; and
WHEREAS, all changes have been implemented except the one requiring a change in due dates for returns and schedules; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has recommended that these changes by implemented prior to January 1, 2003,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Section 161.07, Collection at Source, of Chapter 161, Income Tax, is hereby amended as shown in EXHIBIT A attached hereto.
Section 2. That Section 161.08, Declarations, of Chapter 161, Income Tax, is hereby amended as shown in EXHIBIT B attached hereto.
Section 3. That existing Section 161.07, Collection at Source, and Section 161.08, Declarations, of Chapter 161, Income Tax, is hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
