TO ACCEPT WATER LINE, STREET AND STORM SEWER, IMPROVEMENT NO. 629; AND SANITARY SEWER, IMPROVEMENT NO. 628; AND APPURTENANCES THERETO, IN VILLAGES AT ROCKY FORK, HARRISON POND, SECTION 6, PHASE 2; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 1105.07 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, the City Engineer has certified in writing that the improvements of the water line, street, and storm sewer, Improvement No. 629; and sanitary sewer, Improvement No. 628; and appurtenances thereto, in Villages at Rocky Fork, Harrison Pond, Section 6, Phase 2, are completed and approved or that a bond or other surety has been furnished assuring construction and initial maintenance of all required improvements; and
WHEREAS, the immediate acceptance of these improvements is requested and deemed appropriate in order to prevent any further delay in the development of this project, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the improvements of the water line, street, and storm sewer, Improvement No. 629, and Sanitary Sewer, Improvement No. 628, and appurtenances thereto, in Villages at Rocky Fork, Harrison Pond, Section 6, Phase 2, are hereby accepted.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation, and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor.
