WHEREAS, 1.0 acres was annexed to the City of Gahanna by Harlan Sammons in 1993 and was zoned estate residential at that time; and
WHEREAS, Moscelyn G. Cooper, contingent purchaser, has made application to rezone this property to SF-3 single family residential in keeping with the surrounding neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission held public hearing, said hearing held pursuant to notice and according to law and, as a result of such hearing and deliberations, on August 26, 1998 Planning Commission recommended this application for zoning; and
WHEREAS, Council held Public Hearing on October 19, 1998, pursuant to notice and according to law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map, adopted by Ordinance No. 198-96 on November 19, 1996, as amended, is hereby amended by zoning 1.0 acres, more or less, to SF-3 Single Family Residential, said acreage more particularly described as follows:
Situated in the County of Franklin, State of Ohio and the City of Gahanna and bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin 378.42 feet North of an iron plug in the center line of the Clark State Road and 50 feet East of the East line of Lewis Sindle's tract, thence North 4 degrees, 45' East 161.42 feet to another iron pin in the East property line of the 50 foot road, thence South 85 degrees, 15' East 270.40 feet to an iron pin in George A. Miller's 12 acre tract, thence South 5 degrees, 0' West 161.42 feet to an iron pin in the East line of George A. Miller's tract, thence North 85 degrees, 15' West 270.10 feet to the place of beginning, containing 1 acre of land.
