WHEREAS, the annual appropriation covers 4 quarters, but has always been last quarter of prior year and 3 quarters of current year; and
WHEREAS, this will put everything on a current year basis and is purely for bookkeeping purposes and does not increase or change any payments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of One Hundred Thirty Five Thousand Dollars ($135,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance in the Police Pension Fund to Account No. 510.211.5140, Police, Pension.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2000, passed January 3, 2000 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
