AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION; WAIVING SECOND READING - CARES Act.

WHEREAS, the City received the final round of CARES Act funding in the amount of $154,326.27, bringing the total received to $3,086,849.31; and
WHEREAS, additional supplemental appropriations are requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That an amount of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED TWENTY SIX DOLLARS AND TWENTY SEVEN CENTS ($154,326.27) be and is hereby supplementally appropriated to the following accounts:
230.06.000.5212 - CARES Act Grants $50,000
230.06.000.5105 - CARES Act Full Time Wages $85,547.27
230.06.000.5130 - CARES Act Retirement $16,682.00
230.06.000.5140 - CARES Act Workers Comp $856.00
230.06.000.5145 - CARES Act Medicare $1,241.00
Section 2. That the second reading is hereby waived.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
