TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE GAHANNA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU FOR THE 2011 CALENDAR YEAR FOR THE PROMOTION AND PUBLICITY OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into contract with the Gahanna Convention and Visitors Bureau for promotion and publicity of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement between the Gahanna Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Gahanna for promotion and publicity of the City of Gahanna; Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWO HUNDRED THIRTY NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($239,200) was set aside in the 2011 Appropriations to Account No. 101.356.5456, CVB, Operational Expenses, to cover the herein costs,
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
