WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna has received a Deed of Easement from Ruth E. Junkermann, for waterline easement on Taylor Road; and
WHEREAS, this deed was recorded by the Franklin County Recorder's office on April 25, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined the value of this easement to be $18,722; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable and necessary to accept this Deed of Easement; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to accept this easement at the earliest possible date, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts this DEED OF EASEMENT for the purpose of constructing, operating, maintaining, or replacing a waterline and appurtenant works thereto along Taylor Road; said Deed of Easement and legal description attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
