TO ACCEPT DEED OF EASEMENT FOR ACCESS TO SHULL PARK FROM GRANVILLE STREET FROM CHUANG DEVELOPMENT; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna has received a Deed of Easement for access road to Shull Park from Granville Street, and the City needs to accept it; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has estimated the value of the easement to be $28,520; and
WHEREAS, the deed was recorded at the Franklin County Recorder's office on June 2, 2006; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to accept this deed at the earliest possible date all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts this Deed of Easement for access road from Chuang Development, for a perpetual easement for ingress/egress purposes; said Deed attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
