WHEREAS, the Gahanna Soccer Association will begin construction on the new Concession/Office/Restroom building at Headley Park in the near future; and

WHEREAS, the Gahanna Soccer Association will be donating approximately $250,000 by funding the construction and will donate the building to the Gahanna Parks & Recreation Department; and

WHEREAS, it is imperative to proceed with the waiving of the fees so that construction can begin as soon as possible all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That funding for the following is hereby authorized to be paid from Account No. 101.431.5511, Parks Capital Projects, totalling $17,175; for permits and inspections needed by the Gahanna Soccer Association for the construction of the Headley Park Concession/Office/Restroom building:

Section 2. That Inspector costs are figured at 60% which is the cost to the City of Gahanna.

Section 3. That waiver of second reading has been requested.
