TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH ESRI, FOR AN ONGOING ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE

WHEREAS, the GIS Manager and the Department of Development has recommended that we enter into a contract with ESRI for an ongoing annual maintenance agreement for software maintenance; and
WHEREAS, funds have been appropriated to cover the cost of this maintenance agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with ESRI, 380 NEW YORK STREET, REDLANDS, CA 92373, for an annual maintenance agreement for software, in accordance with contract attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS ($560) has been set aside to Account No. 101.343.5511, Development, Capital Projects, to cover a portion of the herein costs.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of SIX HUNDRED FORTY NINE DOLLARS ($649) has been set aside to Account No. 101.355.5251, GIS, Data Processing, to cover the balance of the herein costs.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
