TO ADOPT THE FIBER CONDUIT DEPLOYMENT STRATEGY FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO DATED JUNE, 2002

WHEREAS, Fishel Consulting Services Group was contracted to provide a Fiber Distribution Option Report; and
WHEREAS, that report has been received and reviewed and the Administration has put together an Executive Overview of the Fiber and Conduit Deployment Strategy to identify critical backbone routes that will be crucial for internal growth; and
WHEREAS, Council has reviewed said Fiber and Conduit Deployment Strategy, and is ready to move forward with the adoption of said strategy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby adopts the Fiber and Conduit Deployment Strategy, Final Recommendation, June 2002, attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
