AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE GAHANNA CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU (CVB) FOR THE YEARS 2021-2024 FOR THE PURPOSE OF  PROMOTING TOURISM AND PRESENTING VISITOR-ORIENTED EVENTS TO ATTRACT VISITORS TO THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an agreement with the Gahanna Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) for the purpose of promoting tourism and presenting visitor-oriented events to attract visitors to the City,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with the Gahanna Convention & Visitors Bureau, 167 Mill Street Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for the purpose of promoting tourism and presenting visitor-oriented events to attract visitors to the City; Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.

Section 2.  That funding will be set aside in the Budget Appropriations to cover the herein costs.

Section 3.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
