TO CREATE CHAPTER 933, BACKFLOW PREVENTION REGULATIONS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, PERTAINING TO RULES AND REGULATIONS; AS REQUIRED BY THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Agency has required that Gahanna establish Rules and Regulations to govern the application of the Backflow Prevention Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney suggested these rules and regulations be adopted as part of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby creates Chapter 933, Backflow Prevention Regulations, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, as required by the EPA.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature by the Mayor.
