TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO GRANT EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF WAY TO AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER, DBA COLUMBUS SOUTHERN POWER COMPANY, FOR UTILITY EASEMENT AT HANNAH FARMS PARK; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, for the purpose of utility easement at Hannah Farms Park it is necessary for the City to grant easement and right of way to A.E.P.; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with said easement during the remaining construction season, and all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to grant Easement and Right of Way to American Electric Power for utility work at Hannah Farms Park; said Easement and Right of Way description attached as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 2. That second reading is hereby waived.
Section 3. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
