TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH MID-OHIO AUTO RECOVERY SERVICES, INC., TO PROVIDE TOWING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA FOR 2007.

WHEREAS, the City needs to have towing service for impounded cars 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a response time of not more than 30 minutes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Mayor is authorized to enter into Agreement with MID-OHIO AUTO RECOVERY SERVICES, INC., 2934 Johnstown Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219, for towing services for the City of Gahanna; Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A.

Section 2.  That funding will be set aside in the 2007 Appropriations to cover the herein costs.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
