SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - TIZ Real Estate Escrow, Tax Payments

WHEREAS,the TIZ real estate escrow account receives payments for property taxes from the TIZ leases; and

WHEREAS, because of the timing of the expiration of the Palinco, Inc., lease,  the City submitted the first half property taxes for the property owner requiring a supplemental appropriation to replace the funds;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That funding in the amount of NINE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS ($9,380) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the TIZ Escrow Fund to Account No. 870.135.5299, TIZ Real Estate Escrow, Tax Payments.

Section 2.  That ORD-0001-2013, passed January 1, 2013, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
