WHEREAS, the Creekside Park waterfall pump failed in April 2006 and had to be repaired immediately; and

WHEREAS, costs associated with repairing this pump have depleted the funds in the Service Contracts account; and

WHEREAS, funds are needed in the account to cover ongoing costs;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That funding in the amount of TEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($10,150) is hereby supplementally appropriated form the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.431.5241, Parks, Service Contracts.

Section 2. That ORD-0001-2006, passed January 2, 2006, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
