WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of permanent part-time Radio Dispatchers to improve staffing coverage and reduce overtime expenditures;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the amount of FORTY TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR DOLLARS ($42,354 ) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to the following Accounts:
101.211.5108, Salaries, Part-time Dispatchers $36,200
101.211.5118, Police P.E.R.S. 4,896
101.211.5117, Police Workers Comp 936
101.211.5119, Medicare 522
TOTAL $42,354
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2002, passed January 2, 2002 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
