WHEREAS, Gahanna City government is committed to the revitalization of the community and its infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, revenue sources for the municipal governments are limited, and directed to servicing the needs of the residents; and
WHEREAS, in order to apply for grants through the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission we must have an approved five year capital improvements plan; and
WHEREAS, it is noted that this is a plan and will change from year to year based on infrastructure needs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. This Council hereby adopts the 5 Year Capital Improvements Program, attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That it is understood that this plan will be reviewed and updated annually to meet the current needs of the City's infrastructure program, and that said annual update, after review by Council, will be revised and approved by Motion Resolution.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
