SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Gahanna Swimming Pool and Hunters Ridge Pool

WHEREAS, the Director of Parks & Recreation has reported an increase in memberships for the pools which has increased concession sales; and
WHEREAS, Hunters Ridge Pool has seen a 38% increase and Gahanna Swimming Pool has seen a 60% increase in concession sales; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed for concessions items in order to complete the season;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.438.5305, Hunters Ridge Pool, Saleable Supplies.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($8,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.440.5305, Gahanna Swimming Pool, Saleable Supplies.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect these supplemental appropriations.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
