AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PART NINE, STREETS AND PUBLIC SERVICES CODE, CHAPTER 903, SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.
BODY
WHEREAS, the Administration, at the request of City Council, is bringing forward a sidewalk maintenance program; and
WHEREAS, several changes will need to be made to the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna in order to implement the program, and
WHEREAS, changes to section 903.01, Plans and Specifications, would further clarify requirements for the construction of sidewalks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That City Code, section 903.01, Plans and Specifications, of Title One, Street and Sidewalk Areas, of Chapter Nine, Streets and Public Services Code, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto.
Section 2. That existing City Code, section 903.01, Plans and Specifications, of Title One, Street and Sidewalk Areas, of Chapter Nine, Streets and Public Services Code, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, or any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
