TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH CLASS ACTS COLUMBUS, INC., TO PROVIDE ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE GAHANNA FREEDOM FESTIVAL.

WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Department is planning an extraordinary day of programming for the July 4th Freedom Festival; and
WHEREAS, the department needs to confirm the entertainment at the festival;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with CLASS ACTS OF COLUMBUS, Inc., 245 Mt. Vernon Avenue #100, Columbus Ohio 43215, to obtain entertainment for the Gahanna Freedom Festival; contract attached as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($5,650) was appropriated to Account No. 101.432.5415, Recreation, Fourth of July, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
