TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH DUKE'S ROOT CONTROL, INC., FOR SEWER LINE VAPOR ROOTING.

WHEREAS, sewers in Rocky Fork Heights and areas of Gramercy Park, Chesterfield Estates and Hermitage need to be vapor rooted to help alleviate sewer problems that may develop;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with Duke's Root Control, Inc., 1020 Hiawatha Blvd., West Syracuse, NY 13204-1131, according to City specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($18,000) was set aside in the 2003 Appropriations in Account No. 661.360.5419, Sewer Root Control, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
