TO AMEND ORD-0003-2014, WHICH PROVIDES RATES OF PAY AND BENEFITS FOR COMMAND STAFF PERSONNEL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2014, THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2014.

WHEREAS, ORD-0003-2014 passed January 2, 2014, established salaries and benefits for the command staff personnel of the City; and
WHEREAS, after consideration of all employees' wages, it has been determined that a wage adjustment for non-bargaining unit employees is appropriate; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources is recommending an increase of 1% with a one-time lump sum payment of 2% effective July 1, 2014, for eligible non-bargaining unit employees; and
WHEREAS, no wage adjustments shall result in a wage above the top of the salary range established for each position as defined in the salary ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That ORD-0003-2014, passed January 2, 2014, is hereby amended as shown in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
