TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE DEEDS FOR THE FOXBORO BASIN CONSERVATION EASEMENTS.

WHEREAS, Section 5301.69 of the Ohio Revised Code authorizes the Franklin Soil and Water Conversation District Board of Supervisors to acquire conservation easements in the name of the Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District for the purpose of protecting the natural resources of the area; and
WHEREAS, this certain real property has been determined to be of importance to the protection of the Rocky Fork Creek Watershed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Deeds of Conservation for the purpose of protecting the Rocky Fork Creek Watershed Easement for Foxboro Basin, a sample copy of which is attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
